Mary, did you know you were holding the King of Kings? Did you know He was the Son of sons, Lord of lords, God of gods? This painting was inspired by Jesus of Nazareth and the song, Mary, did you know? By Ceelo Green. The music moved my heart, so I tried to capture the emotions I felt in the painting.

This is my first ever big painting (48x36), and I have learned a lot about painting in large portions and myself. This was an emotional rollercoaster to finish between spiritual warfare and constant actions of giving up. I eventually finished this painting after a year and a couple of months. I’m so happy and blessed to have completed this piece God entrusted me with.
